Maja in the Woods

Maja is back again, and something tells me that this isn't a trend that will be stopping anytime soon! Maja's wardrobe and sense of style are fantastic, and she is always willing to pose for photos.

Everything Maja is wearing in this photo is handmade. The overalls and tee shirt were sewn by us, and the necklace was made from a dollar store chain and a little charm from a local store here on the island.

Maja, Venus, and I took this photo in Eve and I's fort behind our houses.

Here is one final look at the whole outfit. Eve says we should open an Etsy shop to sell some of the things we make. What do you think? Would you buy anything?

Meet Maja!

Hey guys! I'm so excited to introduce you to my new friend and her lovely sense of style that I just accidentally published this post without an introduction. Whoopsies! This is Maja Florence Larson, Kirsten's cousin, and she's come all the way here from Brazil!

Maja is the friendliest, most bubbly girl I've ever met. As soon as Violet mentioned I had a blog, Maja jumped up and put on this lovely dress, and demanded that we go take pictures so you lovely readers could be introduced to her as soon as possible. That was one request I was happy to meet!

Let's talk about this dress for a second. Maja tells me she bought it in Rio at the festival, and that her sisters have matching ones with the embroidery in different colors. The embroidery on Maja's is green, blue and gold.

I think my favorite part is the tiered skirt. I hope you enjoyed meeting my new friend, and I expect you'll be seeing lots more of her very soon!

Marlee in the Woods

These photos of Marlee are pretty old- we took them in the woods on one of the autumn-ish days at the start of spring.

Look how pretty the muted colors are, I think it definitely looks like these were taken in early winter, before the snow, because of the not-too-bright oranges and greens.

Spacegirl

This is a quick post because at the moment Cecile, Marlee, and I are studying for exams over lemonades on the balcony of the Pink Pony, but Eve has just sent me these photos she submitted for final coursework in her photography class. The model is our friend Nikki, who hasn't been featured here in quite some time! I can't write for any longer because I've got to get back to studying biology, but I hope you enjoy these lovely photos.
